The steel making industry is the bedrock underpinning all other industries. Based on leading-edge technology, POSCO E&C has played an important role to improve the competitiveness of the Korean steel making industry. Through the abundant experience on plant engineering accumulated from POSCO's integrated steelworks in Pohang and Gwangyang and excellent construction methods, POSCO E&C has successfully implemented whole range of steel plant projects, both at home and abroad.
As the only EPC total solution provider for steel plants in the world, we are working on increasing/improving our status in the global market by performing overseas mega projects, such as Brazilian CSP steelworks project, the second largest project order as a single plant project performed by a Korean construction company.
